Anasuya had intended to work and settle down in the United States, but fate intervened and she was offered the opportunity to host a show, which she accepted because she felt it would be entertaining, and which gave her tremendous recognition in the Telugu television business. As a result, she continued to anchor numerous functions and award presentations, as well as hosting a music show called Maa Music VJ and anchoring a news program. Her most popular show to date has been ETV's "Jabardasth Comedy Show." She rose to prominence in the Telugu business after appearing in films such as Sogade Chininayana and Kshanam.
